Dear friends and colleagues,
I am launching today a new blog, as an adjunct to my academic writing. I hope to discuss in it economics and other subjects (such as politics, the other ‘social sciences’ and philosophy) drawing on my experiences and on ideas that I come across. I will where moved comment on current affairs globally and in various countries, attempting to relate these reflections to questions of general interpretation or more abiding concerns. I will have a special concern for development issues. My comments will be always provisional, based on the knowledge of my own, and human, fallibility. I ask for and welcome your engagement.
